A furious Sir Roger Moore has independently financed the production of hundreds of thousands of new leaflets condemning Fortnum & Mason for still selling foie gras – the diseased livers of abused birds – despite massive public outcry.
The new leaflet, which volunteers will distribute to shoppers outside Fortnum & Mason every day in the lead-up to Christmas, features Moore, Ralph Fiennes and Joanna Lumley above the words “Why Have These People Spoken Out Against Fortnum & Mason?”
